Job Overview

As a Concierge, you will assist travelers facing urgent flight disruptions, especially outside regular office hours. You’ll provide flight updates, help stranded travelers rebook flights, and manage post-travel tasks like refunds and compensation claims.

Shift Timings

Regular shifts:

Sundays: 7 or 8 PM – 3 AM ET

Mondays: 7 or 8 PM – 3 AM ET

Preferred additional shift:

Thursdays: 7 or 8 PM – 3 AM ET

Opportunities for extra shifts may arise based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to urgent traveler issues via email and phone.
  • Provide real-time flight updates and rebook travel when needed.
  • Use the Sabre GDS (or other booking systems) to find alternative flight options.
  • Process refunds, compensation claims, and other post-travel tasks.
  • Assist with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and transfers when required.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling stressed or frustrated clients.

Skills & Requirements

  • Reliability: Must be available to respond within 10 minutes of an alert.
  • Airline Knowledge: Strong understanding of airline networks and flight options.
  • GDS Experience: Familiarity with Sabre or similar systems is preferred but not required.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess situations and provide solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and speed are essential.
  • Independence: Comfortable working alone, but willing to ask for help when needed.
  • Tech Requirements: A Windows or Mac computer, reliable internet, and a smartphone (iPhone/Android).
  • Quiet Work Environment: Ability to take calls and focus without distractions.
