Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (Standard 10 / NQF Level 4 / N3).
  • Computer literacy: MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Data interpretation, analytics and numerical ability.
  • DHIS/Tier certificate will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication, verbal and reporting skills.
  • Good planning and organising abilities.
  • Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Acts, Records Management Acts, PAIA and National Core Standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to undergo medical surveillance.

Duties

  • Receive data from various wards within the institution.
  • Collect signed HTS registers from HTS counsellors and check for completeness, correctness and consistency.
  • Capture patient files and PCR data on Tier daily.
  • Liaise with wards regarding data discrepancies and report issues to the Operational Manager.
  • Collect and recount data collection tools: OPD tick registers, headcount registers, theatre and delivery registers.
  • Capture complaints, PEC and PSI.
  • Capture data on webDHIS, Tier.net and SAP HIS.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform any other duties delegated by the supervisor.
  • Comply with PMDS requirements (contracting, reviews, assessments).
