Minimum Requirements

  • ABET Level 02 or equivalent qualification
  • No experience required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of laundry working procedures and environment
  • Basic numeracy and literacy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform routine tasks
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team
  • Willingness to work shifts and rotate duties
  • Willingness to perform physical labour
  • Compliance with wearing protective clothing (legal requirement)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sort and count dirty linen from various hospitals
  • Receive soiled linen from hospitals and clients
  • Operate and assist with laundry machines and equipment
  • Wash, pack, and prepare clean linen
  • Issue and deliver clean linen to hospitals and clinics
  • Pack clean linen onto trolleys and into linen bags
  • Clean and maintain the laundry area
  • Perform any other duties as delegated by the supervisor
