Minimum Requirements
- ABET Level 02 or equivalent qualification
- No experience required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of laundry working procedures and environment
- Basic numeracy and literacy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform routine tasks
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team
- Willingness to work shifts and rotate duties
- Willingness to perform physical labour
- Compliance with wearing protective clothing (legal requirement)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sort and count dirty linen from various hospitals
- Receive soiled linen from hospitals and clients
- Operate and assist with laundry machines and equipment
- Wash, pack, and prepare clean linen
- Issue and deliver clean linen to hospitals and clinics
- Pack clean linen onto trolleys and into linen bags
- Clean and maintain the laundry area
- Perform any other duties as delegated by the supervisor
