Job Purpose

Perform the full spectrum of administrative functions for a regional office, ensuring efficient and responsible utilisation of resources allocated to the branch.


Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and maintain monthly operational reports (registrations, petty cash, queries, customer surveys, etc.).
  • Manage stakeholder relations regarding contributions, benefit payments, detail updates, and enquiries.
  • Administer operating resources cost-effectively.
  • Manage and reconcile office petty cash.
  • Provide administrative assistance to agents (case files, arbitration, Case Management System entries).
  • Direct provident fund queries and handle wellness fund membership verifications.
  • Attend to walk-ins, phone queries, and health plan cards.
  • Stand in for agents and cleaner when required.
  • Open and close the office daily.


Job Requirements

  • Matric with mathematical literacy (relevant experience advantageous).
  • Fluency in English and at least one African language.
  • Computer literacy and good administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act (advantageous).
  • Strong communication, client service orientation, and cash handling accuracy.
  • Willingness to perform ad-hoc duties.
