To deliver administrative system support in order to process administrative and related transactions accurately and timely through the execution of predefined work objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in HRIS software (e.g. Sage People) with a strong understanding of database management and system administration.
HR Knowledge:
- Familiarity with core HR functions including recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance management, and employee records.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to interpret data, generate reports, and identify trends to inform HR strategies.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with all stakeholders and provide technical support.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues and find solutions to technical challenges.
System Maintenance:
- Regularly update and maintain the HRIS system, including data cleansing, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all modules.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues and report to the relevant stakeholder.
- Provide monthly payroll support with transfers and other movements.
User Management:
- Create and support with ESS profiles set-up.
- Provide training to new users on HRIS features and functionalities.
- Address user queries and technical support regarding system navigation and data entry.
Data Management:
- Import and export employee data from various sources into the HRIS system.
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and insights for HR decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations regarding employee information.
System Optimization:
Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify areas for system improvement and propose enhancements.
Support with implementation of new features and modules within the HRIS system.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve system errors, data discrepancies, and user access issues.
- Provide timely technical support to all staff on system-related problems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Higher Certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1 – 2 years) in working on HR systems.
