Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 and a recognized National Steam Certificate (or equivalent)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience operating boilers
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (1993) and its regulations
- Strong planning, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Key Duties
- Requisition and manage boiler chemicals
- Test water quality and chemical levels (TDS, brine tank, etc.)
- Monitor and adjust steam pressure and boiler temperatures
- Maintain standby boilers and chemical levels
- Ensure efficient fuel usage and clean boiler environment
- Complete logbook entries and shift reports
- Supervise coal deliveries and shift registers
- Perform additional duties as delegated by the supervisor

- Overtime may apply based on operational needs
