Job Position: Bus Drivers
Location: Johannesburg, Metro Bus Depots

Job Purpose
Transport commuters safely and reliably to diverse destinations on time and on the correct routes, while adhering to all road and traffic rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Matric (Standard 10)/Grade 12/NQF level 4+
- Valid Driver’s License number EC1/04 or EC, C.
- Valid Professional Drivers Permit.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles or heavy-duty Public Bus Transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre and post-trip bus inspections.
- Follow sign-on procedures at the bus dispatch office.
- Operate the assigned shift according to the authorized schedule.
- Collect all permitted fares and provide tickets for the distance traveled.
- Pay in all fares collected everyday.
- Adhere to all safety regulations before and during your shift, including traffic rules.
- Provide all enquiring passengers with information on the itinerary and routes.
- Display accurate destination information at all times.
- Responsible for overall bus safety and hygiene.
