Minimum Required Qualification:
- Grade 12
The Appointee should:
- At least 1 years’ experience in a Mining environment?
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Clear security screening record
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieves quality and quantity outputs through the utilization of Health and Safety procedures by effective planning, adhering to time frames.
- Supervises subordinates by providing on-the-job-training, issuing instructions and following up on a regular basis to ensure consistency.
- Performs any other activities necessary for the effective completion of his/ her work
- Performs various administrative functions e.g. compiling and processing reports, maintenance of data bases for statistical information, filing and general typing and processing
- Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment. • Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. SHE Management:
- Instil a culture of SHE leadership within the department. Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain department’s documents. • Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System
