Admin Clerk – Electrical Section

Salary: R228,828 – R255,780 per annum (Level 9, Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total Package (incl. benefits): R376,906.60 per annum

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Computer Literacy Certificate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s License (advantageous)
  • 2–3 years of relevant administrative experience within local government
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong administrative, secretarial, and diary management skills
  • Typing and writing proficiency
  • Ability to manage conflict, stress, and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of the motor vehicle industry

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle general administration for the Electrical Section
  • Draft and file correspondence and reports
  • Perform accurate typing for the Superintendent / Foreman
  • Manage telephone calls and service-related complaints
  • Process leave administration
  • Support section heads with delegated tasks
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required by management
