  • Workshop Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric (Grade 12),
  • Trade certification (plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry will be to your advantage)
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as Handyman / Maintenance worker–across residential, commercial or farm settings
  • Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, building, tiling and general repairs

KARAN BEEF FARMING (Pty) Ltd in Heidelberg has the following vacancy available.

The successful candidate must be a well-experienced, hands on, and hard working handyman and will be in possession of the following:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric (Grade 12),
  • Trade certification (plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry will be to your advantage)
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as Handyman / Maintenance worker–across residential, commercial or farm settings
  • Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, building, tiling and general repairs
  • Comfortable with heights, ladders, and physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
  • Conversant in both English and Afrikaans
  • Must be prepared to work under pressure.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays and overtime
  • Good health
  • High safety awareness
  • Reliable and dependable person
  • Detail orientated.
  • Own vehicle with valid driver’s licence

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • A variety of general repairs, maintenance and installations work to buildings, equipment, and machinery
  • Inspections, fault-finding and determining the best way to repair.
  • Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance, and repairs
