Job Description:
The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enroll in an external Unemployed 4 months Cadet program.
Our Mining Cadet Program is an enrichment program for the community and will enable you to develop skills with on-the-job/core training at Mogalakwena Complex. This Program will enable you to maximize your potential along with a tailored plan to provide you with a future to make a difference.
Qualifications:
Application requirements include the following:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy and English.
- Must have obtain a pass mark of 40% and above
- Must be medically fit
- Must be prepared to work on surface
- Work in accordance to work schedule of area and could possibly involve working shifts
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must pass the relevant psychometric assessment
- Must pass K53 Simulator Assessment
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
South African Driver’s license will be advantageous

Cadetship Conditions:
- Must be prepared to work in the opencast dusty area
- Work in accordance to work schedule of area and could possibly involve working shifts
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must pass the relevant psychometric assessment
- Must have a medical certificate of fitness or able to obtain one
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
- A valid South African Driver’s license will be advantageous
