About the Role:

SANBI seeks a professional, responsible, and enthusiastic individual to perform cashier duties, access control, and customer service at the Mokopane Biodiversity Conservation Centre (MBCC).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 10 (NQF 2) with 5 years relevant experience
• OR Grade 12 (NQF 4) with 4 years relevant experience
• NQF 5 qualification is an added advantage

Competencies and Skills:

• Experience in handling cash and electronic payments
• Operation of financial software
• Strong numerical and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet, and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience
• Willingness to travel nationally
• Friendly and professional demeanor

Key Performance Areas:

• Perform cashier duties
• Manage access control and housekeeping
• Handle general admin, bookings, queries, and animal donations
• Support HR functions, stakeholder engagement, and other ad hoc activities
