KWAZULU-NATAL REGION

PRACTITIONER: HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

Salary: R397 116.00 – R467 790.00 per annum (exclusive of benefits)
Location: Pietermaritzburg District Office

Minimum Requirements:

  • B Degree and/or a 3-year tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or relevant studies
  • Minimum of 480 credits (NQF Level 7) or 360 credits (NQF Level 6) as recognised by SAQA
  • 2–3 years’ experience in Human Capital Management
  • Knowledge of Oracle system
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personnel provisioning and maintenance issues to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
  • Assist with coordination of generic training interventions in the District
  • Assist with coordination of study aid processes for employees in the District
  • Facilitate and coordinate implementation of Wellness Policies in the workplace
  • Facilitate and coordinate Performance Management processes in the District
  • Assist with coordination of Labour Relations issues and manage resources in the unit

ADMINISTRATION CLERK: ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES

Salary: R228 321.00 – R268 950.00 per annum (exclusive of benefits)
Location: Lamontville Local Office

Minimum Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • 0–1 year working experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s licence (successful candidate will be expected to drive)

Duties:

  • Keep log book of pool vehicles and ensure maintenance thereof
  • Maintain and update asset registers
  • Check completeness of leave forms and HR documents
  • Ensure filing system is aligned to the SASSA master file plan
  • Open and close files
  • Represent the Local Office in meetings, forums and committees
  • Assist with arrangements of meetings, special events and awareness campaigns
  • Obtain quotations where required
  • Compile motivation and Comparative Schedules
  • Submit documents for approval to District/Regional Office
  • Order items and manage receipts
  • Check and book items according to delivery notes
  • Arrange payment of invoices
  • Ensure compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Chapter 6, Part 3
