We invest significantly in South Africa’s employed and unemployed youth through various development programs. Our initiatives, including the Retail Readiness Programme (RRP) and the Youth Employment Services (YES) Initiative, provide comprehensive study bursaries in various academic fields.
Retail Readiness Programme (RRP):
- Designed for young individuals without previous work experience.
- Consists of five weeks of practical training and two weeks of theory.
- Successful completion results in NQF level 3 qualifications.
- Eligibility: South African youth aged 18 to 34 with no prior work experience and a Matric or equivalent qualification.
Youth Employment Services (YES):
- A business-driven initiative in collaboration with government and labor.
- Offers 12 months of on-the-job training, exposing participants to various aspects of the retail business.
- Successful YES learners are equipped to work in retail or start their own retail business.
- Eligibility: South African youth aged 18 to 34 with a Matric or equivalent qualification.
