Student Internship Opportunity: Corporate Performance Support

Location: 48 Ameshoff Street, Braamfontein
Duration: Internship (Maximum of 18 Months)


Stipend: R10 109.86 per month (Basic salary, no benefits)

Primary Purpose:

To support organizational corporate performance management, evaluation, and reporting across the City of Johannesburg. Ensure alignment with municipal and government norms, standards, regulations, and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
  • Completed three-year Degree or Diploma (minimum 360 credits) in:
    • Public Policy
    • Social Science
    • Statistics
    • Internal Audit
    • Development Studies
    • Administration / Management
    • Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Or any relevant equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6/7)
  • Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
  • First-time internship applicants only (unless previous internship was unrelated to your course)


Key Learning Areas:

  • Conduct performance verification and evaluation against scorecards
  • Provide responsive and practical support to stakeholders
  • Manage full scope of administrative and reporting functions related to performance management
