Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Capture manual payments accurately on the system
- Validate EFT payments with missing or incorrect information
- Follow up on payments received without documentation
- Follow up on documentation received without corresponding payments
- Allocate third-party source documents to bank statements
- Trace and manage unallocated or unknown deposits
- Liaise with employers regarding proof of payment and allocation approvals
- Allocate payments to correct employer codes and periods
- Reconcile lump-sum payments across multiple employer branches
- Prepare documentation for refunds
- Transfer payments between employer accounts where required
- Provide administrative support to the Returns Department
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Business Economics or Accounting (advantage)
- Mathematics (optional advantage)
- Minimum 6 months – 1 year business administration experience
- At least 1 year general work experience
- Studying towards a Business Administration short course (advantage)
