Job Description:
Welkom Child and Youth Care Centre is seeking a qualified and compassionate Child and Youth Care Worker to support the emotional, physical, and educational needs of 12 children placed in the centre’s care by the Children’s Court.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Recognised qualification as a Child and Youth Care Worker
- Registered with the SACSSP (South African Council for Social Service Professions)
- Prior experience as a Child and Youth Care Worker (recommended)
- Willingness to undergo further training (in English)
- Valid driver’s licence (mandatory)
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Must be a positive role model with a healthy lifestyle, good health, and sound social skills
- Preferably aged between 35–55 years
- Preferably no dependent children
Start Date:
As soon as possible
