Job Summary

To process financial transactions accurately and timeously, in line with predefined objectives and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

Financial & General Administration

  • Attach supporting documentation (credit approvals, authorisations, invoices, spreadsheets) for audit purposes
  • Provide regular management information (e.g., invoices paid) to Line Manager
  • Resolve document-related queries within 24 hours and escalate unresolved matters
  • Maintain financial records and files systematically
  • Handle ad-hoc queries from stakeholders (Group Tax, Private Bank Management)
  • Perform general administration duties relating to finance

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and explain variances
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting obligations are met
  • Prepare Business Unit Procure-to-Purchase monthly reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in Annual Financial Statements preparation
  • Keep up to date with changes to Companies Act, Tax laws, IFRS, and other standards
  • Prepare VAT packs monthly and submit to Group Tax
  • Ensure compliance with Risk Management principles and policies
  • Prepare attestations for Financial Manager, CFO, and Managing Executive

Reconciliation & Budgeting

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts in line with Accounts and Reconciliation Policy
  • Reconcile bank statements, miscellaneous transactions, and government services accounts
  • Assist in budget preparation (monthly/quarterly)
  • Conduct daily control account reconciliations and resolve deviations
  • Address and clear outstanding reconciliation items

Education & Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Financial Sciences (Required)
  • Knowledge of financial administration, compliance, and reporting
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
