Purpose Statement

  • To support the efficient operation of  a function or department by providing administrative assistance which encompass various tasks aimed at ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and facilitating effective communication and delivery.

Education (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Education (Ideal or Preferred)

Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge:

  • Microsoft suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • General administration practices and processes.
  • Basic technology and data handling 
  • Typical office equipment e.g. Printer, conferencing facilities

Experience:

  • 2+yrs experience in an administrative or secretarial role or office environment

Skills

  • Attention to Detail
  • Communications Skills
  • Planning, organising and coordination skills
