Job Title: Administration Clerk

Min Remuneration: R 202 233 per annum (Salary Level 5) 

Job Purpose

The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to render support service to the Programme: Research Infrastructure Support Services. This post is based at Nortier Research Farm.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification); A valid driving licence (Code B).

NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Recommendation

  • Appropriate administrative experience.

Key Performance Areas

  • Provide a Reception service
  • Provide a typing service
  • Provide office administration
  • Provide logistical support
  • Perform administrative and related functionsCompetenciesA good understanding of the following:
  • Application of relevant legislation
  • Working knowledge of systems (EPS, Microsoft Word, Excel. PowerPoint)
