Introduction
The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ&CD) seeks to appoint ten (10) Administration Clerks to provide essential clerical and administrative support. These entry-level roles are an opportunity to contribute to the strengthening of South Africa’s justice system by ensuring efficiency, order, and accuracy in daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience: Not required, but administrative experience will be an advantage.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Good communication (written & verbal).
- Record-keeping and organisational ability.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and basic numeracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Administration: Handle correspondence, filing, photocopying, and preparation of documents.
- Records Management: Open, track, archive, and safeguard files in compliance with policies.
- Data Management: Capture and maintain information in departmental databases, generate reports.
- Financial/Logistical Support: Assist with invoices, claims, supplies, and meeting arrangements.
- Frontline Services: Attend to enquiries, direct clients, and provide general assistance.

The Department offers training in public administration, IT systems, and customer service.
