Job Description

The Health Systems Trust (HST) seeks to appoint 35 Data Capturers to support the Digital X-Ray programme team with data capturing and management activities.

Key tasks include:

  • Capturing, verifying, and reporting data at supported health facilities and community level, with a focus on TB data.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Identifying and reporting linkage referrals to facility staff for patient tracking and tracing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Reporting
    • Record and report on all TB screening data from communities and facilities.
    • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly data reports.
    • Submit weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on time.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
    • Collect and verify data regularly to ensure quality.
    • Conduct data clean-up as required.
    • Maintain accurate filing and perform administrative duties.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, project management, and Department of Health staff.
    • Capture relevant subject-related information from DoH staff.
    • Maintain an accurate vehicle log.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Matric (Grade 12).

Qualifications

  • Valid South African Code 10 driver’s license plus PDP.

Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in data capturing and reporting.
  • At least 2 years’ driving experience.
  • Experience in TB and HIV data recording and reporting.
  • Knowledge of health M&E systems (advantageous).
  • Experience in a donor-funded environment (advantageous).
  • No criminal record.


Remuneration

  • Total Cost to Company (TCTC): R222,703 – R279,385.67 (per Global Fund requirements).
