Responsibilities
- Safety and Environment: Adherence to safety and environmental standards, good housekeeping, and escalation of risks or unsafe practices.
- Equipment Handling: Safe loading, movement, and inspection of vehicles and machinery to prevent damage and ensure operational efficiency.
- Inspections: Conduct pre-shift checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Assistance: Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues, provide support as needed, and coordinate resources for successful task execution.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Driver’s License: Valid South African Driver’s License.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle components, equipment functionality, and maintenance.
Skills:
- Effective communication in English and local languages.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
