Position Overview
As a Jr. Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our Academic and Operations teams. This role involves managing projects, coordinating with leadership, facilitating meetings, and ensuring smooth operations. You’ll oversee task execution, track project progress, and help streamline processes across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure 90% of projects are completed on time.
- Conduct weekly task sprints with managers to track project progress.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring clear deadlines and accountability.
- Manage project scope, risks, and issue resolution.
- Lead strategic planning and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
- Organize and support virtual and in-person events.
- Improve internal communication and collaboration between departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- At least 1 year of project management experience.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
