Requirements
- Grade 12
- No experience required
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic numeracy and literacy
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Planning and organising skills
- Ability to perform routine tasks
- Basic interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles
Knowledge:
- Limited range of work procedures related to messenger duties
- Working procedures within a healthcare environment
- Elementary duties such as courier services
Added Advantage:
- Willingness to work shifts and public holidays
Duties
- Collect medical files from clinics, wards, and casualty
- Check and control files entered in the control register
- Sign for files collected from wards
- Ensure no loose documents are accepted
- Deliver files to relevant departments
- Prepare ward files for casualty and Counter A
- Rotate across various sections as required
