About the Position

Vital Element (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Operations Administrator with a valid driver’s license and reliable transport.

The candidate will:

  • Be on standby every second weekend of the month.
  • Be available to travel to Johannesburg for training.
  • Manage and oversee all operational requirements for student housing.

The ideal candidate must be skilled in administration, Excel (VLOOKUP essential), and assertive communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with student recruitment, wellness programs, and marketing.
  • Capture and manage student leases and administration.
  • Ensure student housing maintains 100% occupancy.
  • Oversee monthly maintenance.
  • Manage house budgets.
  • Develop, onboard, and discipline staff members.
  • Handle data tracking and emails.
  • Track student payments and allowances.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Valid driver’s license with own vehicle.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong Excel skills (advanced; VLOOKUP essential).
  • Excellent administrative abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Empathetic with excellent people skills.
  • Assertive personality.

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years in an administrative role (preferably Admin Clerk level).
