Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Qualification as a Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
  • Active registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
  • Knowledge and experience in:
    • Warehousing & logistics
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Transportation
    • Hospital Pharmacy sector
  • Computer literacy (advantageous).


Duties

  • Receive stock from suppliers following SOPs, Good Distribution Practice and Good Pharmacy Practice standards.
  • Offload trucks, move stock to quarantine areas, and transfer to storage sections.
  • Pack stock onto correct shelves according to FEFO and FIFO principles.
  • Participate in stock rotation and stock-taking.
  • Issue ordered stock to Health Facilities in the Gauteng Province according to scope of practice.
  • Move roll-trainers to the dispatch area.
