Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Qualification as a Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
- Active registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Knowledge and experience in:
- Warehousing & logistics
- Supply Chain Management
- Transportation
- Hospital Pharmacy sector
- Computer literacy (advantageous).
Duties
- Receive stock from suppliers following SOPs, Good Distribution Practice and Good Pharmacy Practice standards.
- Offload trucks, move stock to quarantine areas, and transfer to storage sections.
- Pack stock onto correct shelves according to FEFO and FIFO principles.
- Participate in stock rotation and stock-taking.
- Issue ordered stock to Health Facilities in the Gauteng Province according to scope of practice.
- Move roll-trainers to the dispatch area.
