R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 05)
The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
  • No experience required
  • A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of working procedures in a public service environment
  • Knowledge of registry processes, storage and retrieval procedures
  • Understanding of legislative frameworks governing the Public Service
  • Familiarity with filing systems, mail procedure manuals, Promotion of Access to Information Act, National Archives, and Batho Pele Principles
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Good communication and numeracy skills
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Time management and administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently, accurately, and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and self-motivation

Duties:

  • Render effective and efficient case flow management support services to the Court
  • Attend to stakeholder enquiries and correspondence
  • Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of all court records
  • Administer appeal and petition processes, including the receipt, processing, and filing of appeals and applications for leave to appeal
  • Provide administrative support in the Registrar’s Office
  • Prepare, analyse, and submit court statistics
  • Maintain and keep all registers for civil and criminal matters, including provisional rolls
  • Upload and update case information on Registrar’s tools, Court Online, and Caseline
  • Issue court processes at the General Office (including online)
  • Handle case management duties and public queries
  • File and archive civil processes
  • Perform any other administrative duties as required by the Chief Registrar or Court Manager
