Requirements

  • Qualification: Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Bilingual and computer literate (MS Office packages).
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Telephone etiquette and organizational skills.
    • Management, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills.
    • Ability to act with tact, discretion, and reliability.


Duties

  • Provide secretarial support service to the Director.
  • Manage the Director’s diary, appointments, and telephone calls.
  • Prepare and type documents, letters, memorandums, and reports.
  • Take and record minutes during meetings.
  • Handle and file classified documents appropriately.
  • Process travel and subsistence claims, make travel arrangements, and organize venues.
  • Prepare meeting documents and coordinate logistics for visitors and events.
  • Maintain an effective filing and record system.
  • Order stationery, make photocopies, scan, and email documentation as required.
  • Liaise with internal staff and external stakeholders on behalf of the office.
