Job description

     Minimum Requirement 

 Qualification(s):

·       Grade 12 or N3 with maths and science plus NQF 4 National certificate in fossil power plant operation 

 Related Minimum Experience:

·       2 years’ learner plant operator /plant operator experience 

   Skills and Competencies Required: 

     Knowledge 

·       Flip defect and log written skills

·        Fire fighting

     Skills 

·       Computer literacy

·       Communication 

  Key Responsibilities 

·       Perform routine plant checks.

·       Prepare plant for service.

·       Prepare plant operating activities.

·       Form part of the fire and rescue team as requested.

·       Perform any other legitimate activities as required.
