LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME: NC TECHNICAL LIVE EVENT

Joburg City Theatres (JCT), an entity of the City of Johannesburg, is contributing towards skills development by offering Learnership opportunities to unemployed youth residing in the City of Johannesburg.

This programme allows learners to attend classes and gain valuable workplace experience in the theatre environment.

JCT is currently recruiting unemployed youth from the City of Johannesburg to apply for the following Learnership:

PURPOSE

To provide unemployed youth with technical live event production skills and work experience. The learnership leads to a nationally recognized NQF Level 4 qualification.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have passed Grade 10, 11 or 12
  • Unemployed, aged 18 to 35 years
  • Reside within the City of Johannesburg
  • Passionate about technical live event production
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have no criminal record
  • Must be able to communicate in written and spoken English
  • Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply
